Request an Appointment
A pleasant visit builds trust and helps put the child at ease during future visits. We want your child to enjoy getting to know our doctors and staff, so we work hard to establish this bond during every appointment to our office. We look forward to meeting you and your child and providing the quality, comprehensive medical care you expect and deserve.
For your convenience you can make a well or sick-visit appointment at any of our four locations in Orange County.
Please call our office to request an appointment at (949) 770-4242.
Our front desk staff will accommodate your desired physician and time to the best of their ability. If the visit is for a complex problem that may require more time, please let the receptionist know when you call, so we can allow an appropriate amount of time for your visit.
For Urgent Appointments
Children with acute problems who come to the office without appointments will be scheduled as soon as possible, but there may be a significant wait. For your own convenience, always call for an appointment before coming to the office. We can always work an extra patient into our schedule, provided we have some advanced notice. We will always try to see an urgent medical problem on the day you call. Please call well in advance for routine visits or non-emergency problems.

For After-Hours Care
In the event of drowning, unconsciousness, severe injury, or other life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately!
After-hours care is available in our Ladera Ranch office Monday through Thursday and on Saturdays. Please visit our After-Hours Care page for more details.
After-hours calls should be limited to emergencies as well as urgent conditions such as lacerations, very high fevers, difficulty breathing (not a stuffy nose), or severe pain. Questions regarding non-emergency problems such as colds, sore throats, low-grade fevers, mild flu symptoms, pinworms, diaper rash or minor injuries are best handled during our regular office hours.
If You Are Unsure What Kind of Care Your Child Needs
If you believe your child has had a minor injury, call our office and ask to speak to one of our nurses immediately. They will evaluate the injury and advise you to seek care in our office or request that you seek care from an emergency room.
If you would like advice on how to care for your child, one of our telephone advice nurses can help. Our nurses are trained to make decisions about patient care that need to be seen by a physician and how to provide home care for children that may not need to be seen by a physician. You will be asked to leave a message and a nurse will return your call. We will make every attempt to return your call promptly.
Your First Visit
On your first visit, we will begin a permanent record and family chart for you. Please arrive 20 minutes before the appointment time to fill out appropriate forms and verify insurance. If you have an appointment for a complex or longstanding problem, please try and bring any medical, school, or other records that will be helpful to us for that visit.
Cancelling/Rescheduling Your Appointment
If you are unable to keep your appointment or are going to be late, please call our office as soon as possible. For routine or non-emergency problems, we may have to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 20 minutes late.
No-Show Policy
There is a $25 fee/child for missed appointments if the appointment is not cancelled 24 hours in advance of your scheduled visit.
